‘Frwd/Slsh’.

Fwrd/Slsh [Forward / Slash] is a personal lettering logo for a print project . It’s a brand name / alias that I use for a seperate printing project.

For this lettering piece, I want to use a thick, single-stroke style. The final logo went through some iterations in order to get right, and is slightly different in comparison to the handlettering version. Especially visible with bridging the ‘w’ and ‘r’ in the word ‘Fwrd’.

I wanted to try something different for this project, and wanted something that was going to flow easily. Clean edges keep the modern aesthetic, with the grungy texture nodding to the messy process of printing.
